What Does "LC" Stand For?

LC stands for Last Channel. Pressing it jumps your TV or box back to the previously viewed channel — handy for flipping between two channels without scrolling through the guide.

Using LC to Set Favorites Faster

On Xfinity and some other cable/streaming boxes, pressing LC + OK/Enter while setting up your favorites list can speed up the process — it lets you add channels to Favorites without having to fully navigate the guide for each one.

A Note for Other Boxes

On some other set-top boxes, pressing LC + OK/Enter may instead pop up an info bar or on-screen menu rather than adding the channel to Favorites. If that happens on your box, set up your Favorites list without using the LC shortcut — just select and confirm each channel normally through the guide.
