Guide Appearing When Using Flipper

Problem:

Some cable companies activate the guide when using 0-9 or Favs on Flipper.

Flipper can eliminate or minimize the time the guide appears by adjusting the Channel Entry Format when setting Favs.

Solution:

1️⃣ Try a Different Channel Entry Format

• The Guide may be triggered by the LC (OK) signal
• Fix: Program Favs without LC (OK)

Example Format:
✔ 123, ADD; 456, ADD;

2️⃣ Delete Incorrectly Entered Favs or Reset

Reset Flipper to Factory Settings

📌 Press and hold ADD until the light turns solid, then enter 954
✔ The light will blink out, confirming reset

Delete Incorrectly Entered Favs

📌 Follow the same process as programming, but use DELETE

Steps:
1️⃣ Press and hold STB + DEL until the light turns solid
2️⃣ Enter the channels to delete
3️⃣ Exit by pressing STB
