Fixing Random Channels or Double-Digit Errors (e.g., 44 Appears as 4)

If channels change unpredictably, or a double-digit channel (e.g., 44) appears as a single digit (4), the issue may be related to the IR (infrared) signal timing.

Step 1: Let the Channel Fully Change

  • Before pressing the Channel button again, wait for the channel to fully change.
  • Rapid button presses may cause errors in channel selection.

Step 2: Adjust the IR Signal Timing

Flipper is set to the fastest speed by default, so reducing the speed may help.

Decrease IR Speed (Slower Signal)

1️⃣ Press and hold Device (STB or TV) & CH- for 3 seconds until the light flashes once.
2️⃣ This slows the signal one level.
3️⃣ Try using Favorites after each level adjustment.
4️⃣ Repeat up to 5 levels total if needed.

Increase IR Speed (Faster Signal)

1️⃣ Press and hold Device (STB or TV) & CH+ for 3 seconds until the light flashes once.
2️⃣ This increases the signal speed one level.

  • If Flipper reaches the minimum or maximum speed, the light will flash twice to indicate no further adjustment is possible.
