Deleting Favorites on Flipper Remote

When deleting favorites, it's important to delete exactly what was entered during programming. Here are two key things to watch out for:

1️⃣ Use the Exact Channel Entry Format

• If you used Mute or LC when programming, you must use the same format to delete:
  • 123-DEL
  • 123-Mute-DEL
  • 123-LC-DEL

2️⃣ Check for Incorrect or Accidental Entries

• Sometimes, a channel was partially entered or inputted incorrectly.
• If the channel does not exist in your provider's lineup, the box may jump to the closest channel instead.
• To identify the correct channel entry:
  • Look at the LED screen on the cable box or
  • Check the digits displayed on the TV screen when selecting the channel.

Steps to Delete a Favorite Channel

1️⃣ Unlock Favorites Mode

• Press and hold ADD until the light is solid, then enter 956.
• (Use TV if in TV-Only Mode).

2️⃣ Enter Delete Mode

• Press and hold STB + DEL at the same time until the light is solid.
• (Use TV if in TV-Only Mode).

3️⃣ Delete the Exact Channel

• Enter the exact format used during setup:
  • 123-DEL
  • 123-Mute-DEL
  • 123-LC-DEL

4️⃣ Exit & Test

• Press and release STB (or TV if in TV-Only Mode).
• Test to confirm the deletion.
