Code Search

CODE SEARCH 

Use this method if the code entry does not work. 

In Code Search, Flipper sends batches of 15 codes to your TV or STB until it turns off.  Then we search one code at a time until it turns back on.

The downside is there can be partial matches, so it is not recommended for Flipper Stream, which has advanced features like Navigation and Menu functions.

Start with the TV and cable/STB powered ON. 

Code Search sends groups of stored codes to find a working match. 

When the device turns OFF, a matching code has been found. 

Begin code search 

1. Press and hold the device button you want to search 

(TV or STB) until the light stays solid. 

2. Enter the region code: 

o US / Canada: 962 → light remains solid 

o UK / EU / AU / NZ: 961 

3. Press and release On/Off. 

The light flashes while sending a batch of 15 codes. 

Either: the device turns off, or the light turns solid. If it turns off, then there is a match in the batch 

If the TV turns off, wait till light stops flashing. Then slowly press and release the CH - (down) to send one code at a time until the TV turns back on. 

If the light turns solid (TV does not turn off), then press On/Off again to end another batch 

Once the TV turns back on, press and release TV (or STB). Test other functions. 

Note: If your home region did not turn up a match, try the other region. Many devices share codes.
