Setting Favorites (Favs) When a Search Box Appears - LC Button

Xfinity uses different software and box models, so setting Flipper’s Favorites requires some trial and error.

Step 1: Check Your Flipper Model

📌 Find the model number on the back of Flipper (V7, V8, V9, etc.).

Step 2: Determine If Your Xfinity Box Requires "OK"

✔ Some boxes need an OK signal when programming Favorites.
✔ Others do not.

📌 Test two channels first to find the correct format.

Step 3: Enter Favorites Based on Flipper Model

✅ If Your Box Requires "OK"

🆕 Flipper V9 & Above:
👉 Use the LC button for OK
🔹 Example: 123-LC-ADD
🔹 Example: 456-LC-ADD

🆗 Flipper V8 & Below:
👉 Use the Mute button for OK
🔹 Example: 123-Mute-ADD
🔹 Example: 456-Mute-ADD

👉 Simply enter channels as usual:
🔹 123-ADD
🔹 46-ADD

✔ Test Favorites and make sure channels change correctly.
