Cisco / Pace RNG & HD271 Compatibility with Flipper

Flipper's Favorites (Favs) feature does not work consistently with Cisco and Pace RNG units and the HD271 model.

We are still working on a solution, but as of now, we have not been able to get Favs fully operational.

What Does Work?

✅ All basic functions (Power, Volume, Channel Up/Down) work normally.

Workarounds

1️⃣ Check for a Built-in Favorites Feature

• Some cable providers offer a Favs feature directly in the set-top box.
• If available, set up Favs in the box and use Flipper in regular mode.

2️⃣ Request a Different Box from Your Provider

• Some providers offer multiple box options.
• If possible, request a compatible model that works fully with Flipper.
• While swapping boxes can be challenging, many providers have alternative models in their lineup.
