How to Use this List Universal remote controls use IR infrared signals, a part of the visible spectrum, which is why we need direct line of sight to the devices, and be far enough away so they spread out. Manufacturer of these devices sometimes release new devices and they do not use the same code sets they previously used in their other devices. As a result, we at Flipper Remote always update each production with devices released in the preceding time period, usually 2x a year. Look an the back of your Flipper - the version / model number is the V... followed by a number. The most recent in numeric order (currently v12) will utilize all the codes from the previous versions so please look in each update section for codes.
